Even though the S5012 has a standard A21 shape and a Medium (E26) screw base that fits a normal household socket, it is a 12-volt (low-voltage) bulb. It is NOT designed for standard 120V household lighting. Installing it in a regular home fixture running on standard line voltage will cause it to burn out almost immediately and may pose a safety hazard.
What this bulb is:
A 75-watt, 12-volt incandescent A21 lamp with a frosted finish, 720 lumens, a 2700K warm-white color, an E26 medium base, and a 1,500-hour average rated life. It draws approximately 6.25 amps.
Where it is used:
This is a low-voltage lamp made for 12-volt systems, including marine and boat lighting, RV and camper interiors, off-grid and solar/battery-powered setups, and other specialty 12V applications. It will only work correctly when powered by a 12-volt source.
If your fixture plugs into a standard wall outlet or is wired to your home’s electrical system, this is NOT the correct bulb. You need a standard 120-volt A21 bulb instead.
